Trainee of the month January

This month Dorien van de Huygevoort is our trainee of the month! Let’s get aquainted to Dorien:

My name is Dorien, I live in Hoogeloon. I am 18 years old and I follow the education “paraveterinair” at the Helicon college in Helmond, the Netherlands. My hobby’s are going out, shopping and music.

How did you end up at Dogcentre Holland?

I wanted an internship that focuses on dogs. Because boarding kennels and dog grooming seemed less interesting to me I chose for Dogcentre Holland.

What do you like the most about your work at Dogcentre?

The thing I like most about working here is the training and taking care of the dogs. The visit tot he vet also appealed to me! I would perhaps like to study to become a vet.

Were you into dogs before you came here?

Yes. We have a dog at home who loves to fetch and retrieve. I can keep her busy for hours with that.

What goals would you like to reach here in the future?
