Employee/Trainee of the month November

This month Yvette is our trainee of the month! Get to know Yvette:

My name is Yvette Timmermans, I am 21 years old and I live in Venlo. I live together with both of my parents, my 2 brothers and my sister. I study "Animal. Behaviour and Entrepreneurship" at the Helicon college in Nijmegen. My hobbies are horsebackriding and anything that involves animals.

How did you end up at Dogcentre Holland?

I am very interested in the behaviour and training of dogs. This is what I went looking for in an internship. Then I found Dogcentre Holland via 'stagemarkt'. 

What do you like the most about your work at Dogcentre?

The training I love the most, especially training myself. But also watching the trainingsessions. You learn a lot when you do this.

Were you into dogs before you came here?

I have had dogs at home my entire life and I have my own pup at the moment. I have always been with and around dogs. That's how my passion for dog training and behaviour came to be.

What goals would you like to reach here in the future?

• To understand the trainingsessions even better and to practice them.
• Learning to read the behaviour of the dogs very well.
• Learning the whole process of a dog's training - beginning to end.
